Sophisticated cameras, professional tripods and several sets of lenses might guarantee you a set of technically perfect pictures, but unless you intend to use them in some photography contest, you might find it much more convenient to use a regular camera, or even a disposable one. When you open that album at home, you probably won’t do it to review the colour balance or the smoothness of the edges, but to remember the wonderful time you had on the cruise.
