Dunn's River Falls in

Dunn's River Falls in
Jamaica
One of the ports of
call for our Royal Caribbean cruiseship was Ocho Rios, Jamaica.
Probably the most famous site in the region is Dunn's River Falls
and we chose to tour it on our own rather than through one of the
cruiseship tours. Once we disembarked from the cruiseship, there
were cabs and shuttlebuses available at the pier. Cabs to Dunn's
River Falls were $22 US for a return trip. Cabs allowed 1-3 people
per vehicle. We were also told at the pier that small shuttlebuses
also go to the Falls...

in December, when one would think most folks are home preparing for
the holidays, but this half-a-cruise down the Mexican Riviera from

Effective Ways to Motivate
Employees
Effective Ways to Motivate
Employees
WHATS THE DRIVE
What is it that drives an employee? More specifically, what is it
that causes an employee to WANT to do his or her job? After all,
the answer to this question is the key to the motivation of
employees and employer happiness. And, even more important than
knowing what it is that motivates an employee is whether or not
this motivation is something that will cause an employee to go
through the motions of doing the job or instill actual desire for a
job well done in the em...

the most trusted and loyal liner of America. The liner, which is
most sincere to its slogan its good to be on a well run ship is no
doubt the Holland America Cruise. The homely service of the

Enjoy Your Next Cruise Without Gaining
10 Pounds
Lets face it, one of the joys of a cruise is
the sumptuous world class food that is available everywhere and in
great quantities. Needless to say, nearly anyone who has embarked
on a cruise has come back a bit heavier, but that doesnt have to be
the case. There are many other amenities aboard every cruise ship
that you can enjoy and still fit into your bathing suit at the end
of the trip.
One key to not
overeating is to simply only eat when you are hungry. Avoid the
temptation to eat a...

Entrepreneur and

When I was 12 years old, I had surgery with
complications. I was told there was a chance I would not be able to
have children. Growing up I could not imagine my life without
children and worried about it often. When I got married close to my
21st birthday, my husband and I hoped that we would be lucky enough
to have children. Luckily, I found out I was pregnant almost a year
later. However, soon after the great news, I got very sick. I was
working full time at a corporate travel agency and I

Essence of
Commitment
If
you ever have been part of a winning team, not just a winning team
but a team that meshed and worked like magic and overcame huge
obstacles like the 1980 US Hockey team that beat the Russians, you
know what synergy means. It is like magic. When a couple becomes
committed to each other, they become a team. It means they leave
their respective families and join together to make a new family
that is the first family and the roots of a new family tree. It is
sort of like a seed that drops on t...

Establish Your Credibility For Better Public
Relations
I had a college
professor one semester that was so captivating in
his lectures that I was hesitant to leave when the class was
over. I probably would have been content to sit there and
listen
to him spout off about anything as long as he kept talking. He
was interesting, yes, but even if he had stated that cats could
talk and buildings could walk, I probably would have believed
him
solely based on how much I trusted and respected his knowledge.
There are many aspects of ...

Eureka! Ive Found
It!
OK, so it wasnt quite that big of a deal. But I
did find the T that mysteriously escaped from the word not in one
of my articles a few months ago. Yep, I found it all right. Right
at the end of what was intended to be the word though. Of course,
that misplacement resulted in a stupid sentence completely void of
logic unless by chance you missed the t and read the sentence the
way I intended instead of the way I wrote it.
So why am I
harping about a stupid t. Well because it...

European Cruise - Not All Barges Are the
Same!
What image comes to
mind when you hear the word barge? Most likely, an American will
visualize a long low-slung cargo vessel situated on a river or the
Great Lakes, dirty and loaded with coal or iron ore. The idea of a
barge cruise may be reminiscent of an old black and white movie
where the hero leaves home at a young age on a cheap tramp steamer
to seek his fortune in the great world beyond. Or a barge cruise
might bring to mind long-haired hippies of the 1960s traveling
through Europe on $3 ...

Evangelicals Frustrated by

"I'm not blaming
the president, but religious conservatives have been doing politics
for 25 years and, on every front, are worse off on things they care

rights movement is more powerful, the culture is more decadent, the
life of not one baby has been saved, porn is in the living room,
and you can't watch the Super Bowl without your hand on the off
switch."

Extension of Requirement for Biometric
Passport Issuance
Extension of Requirement for Biometric Passport
Issuance.
The requirement for
Visa Waiver travelers to have biometrics included in their
passports has been extended for one year, to October 26, 2005. All
newly issued passports must be biometrically enabled by this time.
The extension was necessary to avoid potential disruption of
international travel and to allow for adequate time to develop
programs for producing a more secure, biometrically enabled
passport by those countries enrolled in Visa Waiver programs.
Because of security concerns relat...
